this software appears to be the same as another software on here called "1g food", and the websites for both softwares are very similar. not sure if this is a marketing gimmic or what, but that redundancy makes me suspicious.

komodo has really grown into an awesome little app. i work with both perl (primary) and ruby. i had some issues with the 3.x and even 4.x releases, but komodo 5.0 is proving to be a really solid development tool.wish they still had the "personal" version of the application. i'd love to support its development, but can't swing the 0 required for the full ide version.

pro:- no adware included- nice graphics- relays interesting reportscontra:- cryptic starting message about us locations- many locations cannot be chosen, but no assistance for choosing an available locations is given- cluttered and unintuitive interface- erratic behaviour once networc access is denied- relatively slow response- requires .net- no link for uninstallingthe idea of the project is promising, but it seems to be in a very early stage of development. with less erratic behaviour and more obvious usability improvements (many events like clicking on a map or a symbol could trigger an obvious response, choosing the location could be combined with a map or at least a list of possible choices), it could become a recommendable piece of software.

adrian: it works just fine on vista.i'm giving it a 4 because while it is wonderful, the interface is anything but easy to work with and when you're troubleshooting a game that you've been playing crashing and swapping drivers, it's tedious. out of the box experience = bad. the only excuse? it's free of course!otherwise, this is absolutely brilliant and amazing work on the part of the authors.

the photo above is not christv lite. the lite version doesn't have a control panel. settings are made from a context menu (right click) on the screen. after testing christv pvr i was quite surprised at the extent to which the lite version has been crippled. i believe the lite version of this program is intended only as a "come on" for you to buy one of the pay versions since it has been so extensively stripped of features.feature wise, the km player and pvr are in the same ball park except for the cost. the downside is the km player doesn't have a tv setup wizard so it *will* take more effort to configure properly, but you *will* save euro.addendum: i forgot to mention keyboard shortcuts are available for the common functions in addition to the context menu, but changing channels using the keyboard is frustrating. active channels are placed consecutively in a list starting with number 1 and that is the number you enter, not the tv channel number. since not all channels are active, the numbers won't agree. to watch channel 95 i have to type in 57. (i believe this is true of all christv versions.)addendum 2: even after declining to install the relevant knowledge spyware, immediately after installation the rkverify.exe process was running in memory. after rebooting and restarting christv, the process was gone and the file could not located on the computer. i did, however, find it inside of the christv installation file in the rk folder. i seriously question why this file was running, if only one time, since rk was declined during installation. this would explain why some people are getting av alerts when installing christv lite.one final complaint: a "nag" line is annoyingly displayed across the top of the screen each time the program is started and remains there until the channel is changed.my rating of christv lite is 0 stars.

@nvic: the fact that you use a stone age operating system and whine about new products not supporting is says a lot about you. no company would be sad to see such customer go elsewhere anyways.personally i like the way skydrive works in general and the tight integration with windows 8, windows phone and office 2013 is just fantastic.this windows client is good but can become even better.

@roj:ok, i can waste on this or spend the on real ram.and i should buy this why?three stars for a gimmick of dubious value.uh it isnt meant to work as substitute ram, it is meant to speed up things that are usually loaded from disk by reducing some of those drastically and in fact it will work better if you get more ram for it. for example my photoshop takes 23 seconds loading after a reboot, with eboostr it's reduced to 4-6 secs instead helping me doing what i want faster. if you have ram to waste use it on a bigger memory cache for eboostr it is really worth it.i love the way eboostr 3 lets me give priority to apps and specify how much ram or space in flash drives to use unlike the windows vista solution.
